Why are you cancelling now?

The NHS Confederation and NHS England and NHS Improvement have taken the decision to cancel this year’s NHS ConfedExpo, scheduled to take place at Manchester Central on the 10 and 11 June 2020.

The current national focus is on delaying the peak of the spread of Coronavirus to the summer and our top priority is to help local services ensure that they can provide patients with the care they need. As our event was planned for June, we do not think it is appropriate to divert staff time during what we can expect to be a period of increased activity for the health and care sector.

Will NHS ConfedExpo be rescheduled to take place later this year?

No.  NHS ConfedExpo will now take place in Manchester Central on 16 & 17 June 2021.

Will delegate places be refunded?

Places for delegates from the NHS and wider government were free of charge.  However, there are delegate charges for attendees from commercial and other organisations.  These places will be refunded in full.  We will be contacting all paying delegates over the next 14 days.  If you have not heard from us after that time, please contact confedexpo@nhsconfed.org.

Will delegate dinner places be refunded?

Yes, anyone that booked to attend the NHS ConfedExpo dinner on Wednesday 10th June will receive a full refund. We will be contacting all paying delegates over the next 14 days. If you have not heard from us after that time, please contact confedexpo@nhsconfed.org.

How will my delegate booking be refunded?

If you paid for your delegate places by invoice, we will cancel your booking and send a credit note to the registration contact. This will also be copied to any finance contact provided at the time of booking.

If you paid via credit card, we will cancel your booking and send you a receipt confirming the refund. We will then process the refund within the next 14 – 28 working days. If you have not heard from us or received your refund after this time, please contact confedexpo@nhsconfed.org.

Will sponsors, exhibitors and delegates be refunded?

Yes, we will fully refund sponsors, exhibitors and delegates who have paid for their packages and exhibition space at NHS ConfedExpo. We will be contacting all paying delegates over the next 14 days.  If you have not heard from us after that time, please contact confedexpo@nhsconfed.org.

Commercial partners will be offered first refusal on the same package, at the same rate, for 2021.

Will any sessions be made available virtually?

At this time, there are no plans to make previously scheduled sessions and panels available virtually. NHS ConfedExpo speakers, partners, exhibitors and delegates will be contacted with further information. Any further updates regarding NHS ConfedExpo will be published on NHS ConfedExpo’s website – www.confedexpo.org.

Accommodation booked through Reservation Highway

If you have made an accommodation booking through our official partner Reservation Highway you will receive an email confirming cancellation of your booking within the next 2 days, it is not necessary to contact them directly.
